Concepts

Automations on Pig are self-hosted, meaning:

• You install a driver called Piglet onto your Windows machine
• Your Piglet connects to the Pig Proxy
• You can now use the AI Chat or developer SDKs to automate your machine, over the internet.

Requirements

1. A Windows machine (Vista+) to control.
   • If you don't have one, cloud VMs like AWS Workspace work.
   • If you'd like managed machines, sign up for the Pig Cloud Alpha.
2. Any other computer to run the Pig client.
   • It could be the same Windows machine, though it's best to use a different machine since the keyboard and mouse will be driven by your automation program.
